Under the Building Act 2004, commercial buildings with a fire alarm, sprinkler or other health and life safety systems require a Building Warrant of Fitness.
As part of this Building Warrant of Fitness programme, buildings require 11 monthly inspections and one annual audit by a registered IQP (Independent Qualified Person).
We aim to bring clients a high level of compliance by consulting, maintaining, reporting and inspecting individual properties to meet the requirements of relevant building and fire legislation.
The Property Brokers Compliance team have a very broad experience base in fire protection, safety security, risk management, compliance and electrical work.
You can purchase fire safety equipment from PBC including, fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, safety signage, fire blankets, hose reels and a whole range of other fire protection devices.
PBC provide fire and safety risk management, staff lectures, warden training in fire procedures, hands on fire extinguisher/ fire appliance and hose reel training and demonstrations. We also provide evacuation procedures and schemes, provision of fire drills, testing and servicing of fire protection systems and devices.
We are IQP registered and approved to operate in the lower North Island in the following regions:
